About This Event
Two prominent college basketball programs, the Virginia Cavaliers and the Connecticut Huskies, meet in a non-conference regular-season game at Madison Square Garden in New York. The matchup pits UVA's stifling defense against UConn's national championship pedigree on a neutral court that hosts a slate of major college basketball games. Played in the world-famous arena, the showdown adds a high-profile chapter to the teams' histories and to MSG's long-running college basketball tradition.
